1. Who We Are

Fasting Diary ("the App", "we", "our") is an Android intermittent fasting tracker developed and operated by Two Quarters Sdn Bhd, reachable at support@fastingdiary.fit. The App is available on Google Play under the package ID com.fastingdiary.app.v2. Our website is fastingdiary.fit.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Fasting records: Start times, end times, fasting plan selections, and any notes or journal entries you add to a fast.
• Weight logs: Body weight entries you manually record in the App.
• Preferences: App settings such as chosen fasting plan, notification preferences, and theme.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Crash reports and diagnostics: If the App crashes, anonymized diagnostic data (device model, OS version, stack trace) may be collected to help us fix bugs. This data does not identify you personally.
• Usage analytics (aggregated): We may collect anonymized, aggregated information about how features are used (e.g., which fasting plan is most popular) to improve the App. Individual sessions are not tracked or linked to you.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or personal identity to use the App.
• We do not collect precise GPS location.
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files unless a feature you explicitly activate requires it.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the core features of the App (timer, history, analytics).
• To improve App stability and fix bugs using crash reports.
• To understand how the App is used in aggregate and make improvements.
• To process in-app purchases and manage premium subscriptions (handled by Google Play billing — we do not receive your payment card details).
• To respond to your support requests when you contact us.

4. Data Storage and Security

All fasting logs, weight entries, and journal notes are stored locally on your device by default. We do not transmit your personal health data to our servers. If cloud backup is offered as a feature, you will be informed and asked to opt in explicitly before any data leaves your device.

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect the App and any data that does transit to our systems (such as crash reports), including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, which have their own privacy practices:

• Google Play Billing — manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase (Google) — may be used for crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) and analytics (Firebase Analytics). Data is anonymized and aggregated. See Firebase Privacy Information.

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Fasting Diary offers a free tier and an optional premium subscription with a 7-day free trial. All billing is handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Fasting Diary is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions where the higher age applies). Intermittent fasting is not recommended for minors without medical supervision. If we learn that a child under the applicable age has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has used the App inappropriately, please contact us at support@fastingdiary.fit.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
• Opt out of analytics data collection (via device-level or app-level settings).
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by clearing the App's data in your Android device settings or by uninstalling the App. For any other data requests, contact us at support@fastingdiary.fit.

9. Data Retention

Data stored locally on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the App. Anonymized crash and diagnostic reports may be retained for up to 12 months to support ongoing bug-fix and quality efforts, after which they are deleted.

10. International Users

Fasting Diary is developed in India and may use services (such as Firebase) that process data in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
